There is a season in every woman’s life that feels uncertain, a space between what was and what is yet to come.
For many of us in midlife, that space can feel messy, uncomfortable, and full of questions.
Through my walks in the forest and through creating my Real Awakened Woman series, I have learned that this messy middle is not failure, it is transformation in motion.
The forest has been my reminder that everything in nature moves through seasons, stillness, loss, renewal, and so do we.
In these moments of pause, we are invited to meet ourselves honestly, to stop striving for answers and instead allow the silence to teach us.
This realisation deepened as I moved from RAW 8 to RAW 9 of my journey, from honouring the raw truth of transition to redefining leadership as presence rather than performance.
For much of my life, I led through doing, always giving, helping, achieving, but midlife asked me to lead from being.
True leadership, I discovered, is not about managing outcomes, it is about listening inwardly and moving from alignment rather than expectation.
We begin to trust the quiet wisdom that has always been within us.
These findings reflect what I witness in my practice and in my own life, healing begins not in control, but in connection.
So perhaps the messy middle is not something to rush through, but a sacred passage that teaches us to lead ourselves home.
How are you learning to balance doing and being in this season of your life?
