This is Me, an invitation to begin again

I did not expect to lose myself in midlife, but I did.

Somewhere between holding space for others, navigating personal transitions, and trying to meet expectations, I stopped hearing my own voice. My body changed, my emotions felt unfamiliar, and the reflection in the mirror no longer looked like someone I recognised.

And yet, this is also where I began to come home to myself.

My name is Myriam Ferrreira. I am a trauma-informed coach and counsellor with a naturally authentick, grounded, and nature-connected approach, working with women navigating the emotional, physical, and spiritual realities of midlife. My work is rooted in compassion, honesty, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.

This blog is an extension of that work, a place where I can write from experience, reflect with authenticity, and offer something real to those who might be walking a similar path.

Over the coming weeks, I will begin sharing short reflections and insights as part of a series I call RAW – Real. Awake. Woman. These posts and videos will speak to the parts of midlife that are often hidden , the unspoken grief, the physical shifts, the quiet rage, the search for identity. I will not be offering answers – only truth.

But today is not about the series.
Today is simply an introduction a beginning.

If you are a woman in midlife who feels lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of who she is becoming this is a space for you.
You are not broken. You are not behind.
You are in transition and that is sacred.

I look forward to walking this path together.

Myriam
